Dhamma Ada Bersama Anda
Dhamma hanyalah seperti ini,
Dhamma is like this,
Dhamma is like this,
dibahas dalam kiasan,
discussed in the figurative,

karena Dhamma tidak memiliki apa pun
because Dhamma had nothing.

Dhamma tidak bundar, tidak bersudut.
Dhamma is not round, not angular.

Asal Mula Upacara Ullambana
Upacara Ullambana berawal dari kisah Y.A. Moggalana, salah
kelaparan. Namun dengan kekuatan batinnya sendiri, Y.A. Moggalana tidak mampu
menolong ibunya.
Y.A. Moggalana hendaknya berbuat kebajikan
Setelah memperoleh pelimpahan jasa
tersebut, ibu dari Y.A. Moggalana dapat terbebas dari penderitaan dan terlahir
di alam surga.
FOUR BRAHMA VIHARAS
"Bhikkhus, there are these five ways of
removing annoyance, by which annoyance can be entirely removed by a bhikkhu
when it arises in him. What are the five?
"Loving-kindness can be maintained in being towards a person with whom you are annoyed: this is how annoyance with him can be removed.
"Compassion can be maintained in being towards a person with whom you are annoyed; this too is how annoyance with him can be removed.
"Onlooking equanimity can be maintained in being towards a person with whom you are annoyed; this too is how annoyance with him can be removed.

PAJAPATI The First Buddhist Nun
Maha Pajapati Gotami Theri was Gautama Buddha’s aunt,
stepmother, and first female disciple. She became a highly realised
practitioner, and played a fundamental role in the history of Buddhism. It is
thanks to her initiative and persistence that women gained the freedom to be
ordained.
Born into the aristocracy of the Koliyan clan in India, she
and her elder sister Maya were given in marriage to Suddhodana, King of the
Sakyas. Maya was made queen and gave birth to a son, Siddharta Gautama, who was
to become the Lord Buddha, but she sadly died only a week after He was born.
And so it was up to Pajapati, herself already breast-feeding her infant son
Nanda, to assume the role of queen and to foster her cherished sister’s newborn.
Queen Pajapati nursed Gautama and raised Him as if He were her own child. When He was twenty-nine, Gautama came to realise the
futility of His mundane life, and became resolute to discover the true meaning
of existence and a conclusive solution to the suffering of beings.
THE SAKYA TRADITION OF TIBETAN BUDDHISM
The Sakya tradition is one of the four major religious
traditions that existed in Tibet. It rose to play a significant role in the
development and spread of the new Tantras that came to Tibet in the 11th
century. During the 13th and 14th centuries, the holders of the Sakya tradition
were also the principal political powers that ruled over Tibet . Although its
political stature gradually declined over the centuries, emphasis on its unique
religious traditions continued to be nurtured and sustained.
Consequently the Sakya tradition strengthened and flourished and produced many great and distinguished practitioners, saints, and scholars. The origins of the Sakya tradition are closely connected with the ancestral lineage of the Khön family: a family which itself originated from celestial beings. Beginning with Khön Konchok Gyalpo (1034-1102), the founder of the Sakya tradition, the lineage continues to be unbroken to this day.

Manipulasi Berita Rohingya
PENTING..!!!
